Brief Biography

Tony Reed, CPA, PMP, MBA, MS is the true Renaissance man. This globetrotting business executive and 26.2-mile marathoner has passions for life, adventures, and education. He has over 25 years of managing multi-million dollar, international projects. This endurance enthusiast has also completed over 150 running and bicycling races. This includes ninety-five marathons, such as the exotic Great Wall of China and the brutal Antarctica Marathons. As an adjunct professor, he taught project management, IT, business management, and accounting. He has published articles and spoken at accounting, software quality, project management, and IT conferences on these topics. He has three books to his credit.

His professional and athletic exploits were featured in many articles. He's the first Black and one of fewer than 250 people who have completed a 26.2-mile marathon on every continent. He’s also on the Oracle Applications Users’ Group (OAUG) Board of Directors and The Dallas Oracle Users’ Group Advisory Board. Tony is the Co-Founder and Executive Director of the National Black Marathoners’ Association (www.BlackMarathoners.org).
